It promotes Latgale as the tourism destination to improve the region’s economic situation as well as strenghten the identity by the international attention. Its aim is to put it on the global touristic map. 

It supports writers and artists from Latgale in reaching their dreams by providing the necessary assistance and guidance in the whole artistic, entrepreneurship and administrative process. Its aim is to bring the Latgalian art and literature to the world and establish the firm position there.

I am from the Czech Republic but I live in Latvia’s most unique and diverse region Latgale. English has always been my passion, and since 2021 it has turned into a book writing. I am also an English teacher in a small village school. 

I come to Latgale with my vision to make the uncut diamond Latgale proud and shine. My goal is to strengthen the Latgalian identity and move the region from the periphery to the core. Simply said, I want to build the beacon of light which would shine all around. I want to do it through the book writing, other related activities and by leading this organisation into fulfilling its goals.
